Not incredibly spicy but it has a nice warm heat and great flavor. Would recommend.

I’m good for 1-2 spicy beers, then on to something else. Any more than that is no good for me

    Blake’s has a mango habanero I like a lot

    Edit: it’s called El Chavo

I love them. Ballast Point had a habanero sculpin that I loved. I’ve had a serrano stout, and a handful of other really good spicy beers.

With a meal? Love spicy Beer/Cocktails

Drinking heavy isn’t something I really do but if I did I would not choose spicy alcohol

I’ve had a good and bad experience with hot beer. The Good was a Founder’s mango habenaro beer that was surprisingly good and pretty spicy, great on a nice hot day. The bad was STONE Brewings Crime and Punishment beer. It was really hot but tasted absolutely terrible.

  7. SacculumLacertis

I’ve had some great spicy cocktails, though never tried a spicy beer.

  8. Spicy beers are very hit and miss for me. Some have the right balance, others are significantly off. Usually can’t have more than 1 or 2 even for the good ones.

Spicy cocktails though, I can down those all night.

  9. There is absolutely nothing appealing about what is presented here.

I love spicy as much as anyone here. But spicy drinks make no sense to me. Maybe i need to try more

There’s a Jalapeno one by them that is 🔥

  12. Conch-Republic

I can’t stand spicy beers, but I’ll do spicy bloody marys.

  13. boothash

I like spicy caesars/bloody marys but can’t stand spicy beer myself.

There is this local brewery here called “two fat pigs” (the name is in Swedish, that is the English translation) and they have an amazing habanero flavored beer. Just a hint of heat that lingers. Delicious

  15. Noimnotonacid

Spicy drinks really ratchet up my acid reflux

My favorite drink is at a Mexican place near my old home that did a jalapeño limeade- muddle fresh jalapeños, limes, sugar, and a little cilantro, top with sparkling water, pour it into a tall glass with a sugared rim. Easy to add alcohol to, as well.

  17. Concealed_Blaze

I don’t usually like spicy beers but love spicy cocktails

Mill St in Toronto, Ontario, had a beer called Palo Mar that was a spicy lager, I think. Awesome with Mexican food like fajitas

Love them. One of the best beers I ever had was a mango habanero sour called Shun the Non-Believer. Another was Down the Hatch by Old Ox Brewery that blew my mind without being excessively hot.

El Chavo hard cider is great, I have had a few stouts with peppers that I enjoyed but they aren’t anything I would even call mildly spicy just pepper flavored. I also love homemade lemonade with sliced de-seeded jalapenos in it both with and without a splash of liquor.

Spicy Bloody Mary, yea! Spicy michelada, yes! Spicy ipa, eh.

I really enjoyed trying Jobu by Boss Dog Brewery. It had perfect heat and stood out as a favorite. Bossdog describes it as “Our Millenial Hipster IPA infused with roasted Serrano peppers.”

  23. Some chili beers I’ve had accentuate the aftertaste nicely but it’s been very much a hit and miss. Mostly miss.

  24. cremeliquide

i’ve had a mango habanero lager that was really good and i will forever kick myself for not writing down what it was. cock & bull ginger beer is really tasty too, but it’s sort of a different kind of spice i guess?

i find by and large that spicy drinks are few and far between, and only rarely really that tasty imo. but when they’re good, they’re *goooood*

  25. Ipuncholdpeople

I’ve never had a spicy beer, but I had some pad thai cocktails with a bit of kick to them, and they were pretty good
